Today, July 8th, 2025, we took a significant step forward in our commitment to the development of young people from the Campo de Gibraltar region. In collaboration with LIV Golf, we officially launched our scholarship program, which will allow five students from the area to pursue their education at the prestigious Sotogrande International School.
To celebrate the start of the program, the first scholarship recipients were welcomed this Monday at Real Club Valderrama, where they enjoyed a guided tour and took part in a very special clinic alongside several LIV Golf stars: Sergio García, Abraham Ancer, David Puig, and Josele Ballester — all members of Fireballs GC. It was an emotional and inspiring day, filled with motivation for these young students as they begin a new chapter in their academic and athletic journeys.
“Seeing these kids so eager to learn and grow is truly moving. What’s happening here is something really special,” said Sergio García during the event.
This project is part of LIV Golf’s global impact initiative, Potential, Unleashed, and reflects a strong alliance between Valderrama and the league — one that continues to focus on leaving a positive and lasting legacy in the communities that host its tournaments.
The program launch took place just days before the start of LIV Golf Andalucía, which returns from July 11th to 13th at Real Club Valderrama, bringing with it some of the biggest stars in world golf.
