Spanish Champion in the Benjamín category in 2022 and Spanish Champion in the Alevín category in 2024, and now, just one year later, Sofía Gamilla (-2 total) has been crowned Spanish Champion in the Infantil category.
The player from Cádiz, who comes from the La Cañada Golf School, continues to show a level of consistency that is unusual for her age. After two under-par rounds at La Estancia, Sofía overcame Constanza Beamonte and Elena Isorna in a final round that was extremely close at times, thanks in part to her brilliant eagle on the 13th hole.
We would also like to highlight the 7th place achieved by another of our scholarship players, Daniel Minguet, in the Alevín category.
